Wurn medium urn

The high-quality medium Wurn, recognized by the Finnish Funeral Services Association (Suomen Hautaustoiminnan Keskusliitto ry) and handcrafted by the masters of Saaremaa, is made of 100% sheep’s wool and oak wood. The shape and construction of Wurn urns are unique. Felt and oak are environmentally friendly and durable materials. This eco-friendly solution returns the deceased safely to nature, both in soil and in water environments.

Available in three natural shades: gray, brown, and white.

Opening and closing without special tools – safe and dignified.

Suitable as a memorial urn, for burial, or for scattering ashes. As a memorial urn, it preserves the remains for a long time. After the ritual of ash scattering, the urn can optionally be buried. The eco-friendly urn decomposes quickly. Funeral ribbons can be attached to the urn upon request.

The amount of ashes depends on bone mass and density, which develop over a lifetime. It cannot be determined solely by body weight, but can be estimated using the following formula: 1 kg of body weight produces approximately 0.04 l of ashes. The volume of a medium Wurn urn is 2 l.
